MANITOU WIND PARTNERS
Aeolis Wind
We care about the environment. The connections between human and natural systems is what drives our dedication to renewable energy. The connections between project partners are similarly key to the relationships that support wind energy projects in British Columbia.
We know wind. Aeolis has played a premier role in bringing wind energy innovation to BC. Aeolis partnered to install the first wind farm in BC in 2007 (Dawson Creek), and the largest turbines in North America (Enercon E-141 4.5 MW) in 2017, at Moose Lake near Tumbler Ridge.
We’re privileged to have meaningful relationships with communities and First Nations, and appreciative of our development partnerships with Brookfield, Enercon, Boralex and Capstone.
Aeolis has investigated the wind resource along Juna de Fuca Strait since 2005 and has obtained various wind leases dating back to that time.
Our partnership values different perspectives, which strengthens collaboration on shared goals. The synergies of First Nations and wind development partnerships bring widespread and shared benefits for project participants, ecosystems and communities.
